Official Course Description
On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. Characterise the components of an electrical power train and their function.
2. Classify the influences on the transmission efficiency.
3. Model the transmission in a suitable simulation environment and to generate efficiency maps.
4. Analyse the quality of the model by means of experimental data and to discuss differences.
5. Build a model of the vehicle longitudinal dynamics and to assess the operating behaviour of the power train.
6. Discuss the dimensioning and characteristics of the electrical power train by means of simulative and experimental data.
