Digitale Lehre
The course takes place online and contact-free at the indicated time via the "Zoom" platform. The required links and associated passwords will be announced in Moodle in time. The teaching principle equates the "Flipped Classroom Principle", i.e. the content is made available to the course participants in advance to be self-studied and will be discussed together in the online events. The preliminary processing of the teaching content therefore is a prerequisite for learning success.
Important:
Due to the shortened semester, there will be no online introductory course. The necessary announcements can all be found in the published introductory slides!
Lehrinhalte
This course is divided into a lecture course and subsequent, accompanied exercises. The course focusses constructive and creative workouts through related small projects targeted on the basics of constructive and scientific aspects (e.g. light structures, sensitive structures, optimized material usage).
Content chapters:
Design processes, model and plans, Lightweight construction 1, Lightweight construction 2, Building with textiles 1, Building with textiles 2, Building with air, Building with glass 1, Building with glass 2, Steel Construction, Building with wood, Building with steel cables.
Totally there are usually 3 accompanied exercises worked on for 4 to 6 weeks each and completed with an individual presentation. The scope of work includes (depending on the task) verifications of the constructive and statical principles, designs on plans and models. Interdisciplinary working methods shall be applied.
Notation for Master-Students:
The course can be chosen as a C-Modul for the program of study.
