Lehrinhalte
This course is designed to introduce students to the conceptual foundations and practical applications of Internet-based business models. First, we discuss the economic and IT-related foundations of business models and illustrate them based on specific case examples. Then, the specificities of Internet-based business models are introduced and the major components and success factors of digital business models are discussed. Finally, we re-construct and assess successful Internet-based business models such as facebook, Hulu und Amazon. The course is complemented by a mandatory case study exercise in which student groups work on the development of their own business model concepts.

There is a participant restriction for the event. There are limited quotas for the respective courses of study to be considered.

C.) Participation in the kick-off lecture

Students who do not receive a place will be deregistered from the module after finalization of the lists of participants or will be asked to deregister themselves. This is the only way to enable participation for a procedure in the following semester.
