Course Contents
In this project lab, individuals or groups of two students can gain in-depth experience working toward a scientific project in AI robotic manipulation. The topic is decided between the supervisor and the students. It aims toward fundamental progress in robotic perception, control, planning, and general decision-making for robotic manipulation, mobile manipulation, or human-robot interaction.
The connection of selected research topics with the respective topics of the Seminar on Intelligent Robotic Manipulation is welcomed.
The students are expected to work in simulation and on real robotic platforms and collaborate with our team, which has interdisciplinary expertise. The students are expected to write a research report/paper at the quality of a submission to an international scientific conference or journal, which will be peer-reviewed by our team and other students.
Preconditions
Recommended is the successful implementation of at least one of the following courses:

Foundations of Robotics

Robot Learning

Intelligent Robotic Manipulation seminar

Reinforcement Learning

Robot Learning: Integrated Project
